Hi Guys (& Girls)! We've just come out of Paris & are staying in a small hunting village 3 hours from any major cities. We are currently staying in a small Château in the middle of the woods & we've seen 6 stags in 2 days. Anyway... Here's some photos of some French Castles/Châteaus that we've visited today called Sully-Sur-Loire (France's first Castle), Chambord Castle (designed by Leonardo Da Vinci), & Chevreny Château (home of Tintin)...
We're in Paris! Went to the Notre Dame (a famous historic church). We saw so many rats crawling around the rubbish bins it was appalling. Also, we went to the Louvre (home of the Mona Lisa and sculptures by the world's most famous artists). Never have I been to a place so beautiful yet so boring in my life! We went to the top of the Eiffel Tower (the view was amazing). Mum & Dad were persistent to come back down. Then We went to the Champs Elysées. We also met up with friends Toni & Arianne to go to the Sacré Cœur (a famous church on the hill). We also walked through the place that was bombed by ISIS members last year.
Went To the tower of London, tower Bridge and had a High Tea at the British Museum. I haven't got any photos but I bought a feather calligraphy pen from the British Museum as well (something I have wanted for a long time). Will take a train to Paris tomorrow.
We went around Southern and Northern Ireland seeing so many castles that I couldn't list them all for fear of losing your attention. Turns out that the Irish make better scones than the English do... We went to Ballymena in Northern Ireland where my family came from but no one knows about that because he ran away at seventeen and told us nothing about our other family. We did find out some names though.... We also went to the titanic quarters in Belfast and the Giants Causeway.
Sorry I haven't posted in a while... It's been surprisingly hard to find WiFi here. Anyway we went to London and saw all the big sites like The Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, The Stonehenge and Harrods. Harrods is a huge 4 storied shopping mall with Patisseries, Rotisseries, Designer Furniture, Beauty & Perfume, Ready To Wear & Watches from the big brands such as Prada, Dior, Chanel, Louis Vuiton, Gucci, Rolex, Tag Heuer & Pandora. They even have Lamborghini Phones!!! And don't even get me started on some of the prices. We tried to see my Mums ancestrial home the Highclere Castle (more commonly known as Downton Abbey) but it was closed for a wedding And we couldn't take any photos. And we also saw my Dads great, great, great Grandfathers boat: The Cutty Sark. It's the world's fastest and most famous tea clipper. Anyway, here's some pics.
Now it's time to leave America & travel to the United Kingdom. I'm so excited!!! And behind all of our backs my dad got us upgraded to Premium Economy, for free!!! How he did it I can't work out, but it's amazing!!! We're flying to Frankfurt Germany before catching a connecting flight to London.
Just in New York now. Sad to have left Mexico but it's pretty cool here. But so many people!!!
